ONTEX RESOURCES LIMITED

Ontex Resources Limited was incorporated on August 8, 1945, as Bargold Mines Limited. In January 1970, the company name was changed to Ontex Mining Limited. In 1981 Ontex changed its name to Ontex Resources Limited and in June 1983, the company amalgamated with Brookbank-Sturgeon Mines Limited and continues as Ontex Resources Limited.

Ontex common shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange, symbol "ONT". As of May 29, 2008 the Company has 90,016,994 shares outstanding.
